what is sound??!!

Hello world today I’m going to tell you about  sound.

The properties of sound are 1.sound travels 2.sound can be reflected 3.sound can be absorbed 4. sound can be modified 5. sound is caused by vibration. 

Sound is made up of a lot of little waves.

Sound travels pretty slow in the air and faster in the water but it travels super fast in solides such as metell and wood.

Sound get’s to your brain in less then a second.

This is a little picture about sound.

Sound is vibrations that are reflected to your ear.

Ecos are when the sound waves bounce off of stuff and go back in your ear.

Did you know that your ear has three parts outer ear middle ear and inner ear.

The sound waves go into your ear into your ear canal and to your ear drum and then your ear drum vibraits the vibration gets sent to your hairs and the hairs move sending a mesage to your nerves and they give the sound to your brain. All of this hapens in less then a second and it happends faster in the water and even faster in the sollides such as wood and metal.

 

We did a few exparaments  about sound.

One of the exparaments we did was we had a tuning fork
